This is an ongoing series to dissect the PhreakNIC v3.0 code, which can be
seen at http://www.phreaknic.org/phreaknic.txt.
---------------------------

For those of you that are still curious about the ninth "signature" anagram
in the poem ("A data-link grumbles on the cloud"), here are a few other
resources to check:

  - Search engines.  www.yahoo.com, www.altavista.com, there's a ton of 'em
out there, but www.google.com is the one that I personally tend to use most
often.

  - Movie info.  My favorite movie database on the web is called the Internet
Movie Database, at www.imdb.com.  *Lots* of good info there.  From searching
on gaffers to seeing multiple reviews to checking out the famous quotes or
actors in a particular movie, to finding release dates of movies past and
present, this is a great site.

  - Anagram software:  You can go to a search engine and search on "anagram
solver" or "anagram server" or something like that, but here are a few of the
pages that I used:
      http://dictionary.langenberg.com
      http://www.anagramfun.com
      http://www.easypeasy.com/cgi-bin/anagrams/r-us.pl
      http://www.ssynth.co.uk/~gay/anagott.html
      http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/advanced.html

Now, getting back to the poem.  Last time, we were left pondering the
highlighted letters that were scattered within it:

[]: t se i e m h t r . l k r
(): n O e A T l C u .

Each is an anagram.  The second one, however, is a red herring.

"noeatlcu" anagrams to: "Not a clue."

<grumble>  But, at least it eliminates one of the two sections, so let's look
at the other one:

   t se i e m h t r . l k r

A reminder of what we're looking for: We're trying to find something that
will either help us *make* a PGP key for the next section, or will maybe
point us somewhere that we can *find* a key.  There's not enough info here to
make a key, so it's gotta be a pointer of some kind. Sure looks like a URL of
some sort...   It's got enough letters to be microsoft.com, but the letter
distribution isn't right.  Then again, it might explain the "Satan" reference
in the poem.  ;)

Hmmm...

.com?  Not the right letters.  Same for .net, .gov

Hmm, but .HTM might work...   What would things look like if we moved the HTM
letters after the dot?

   Tseiemhtr.lkr  -->  Seietrlkr.htm

Just for the heck of it, let's try typing that one in to our web browser:

  http://www.phreaknic.org/seietrlkr.htm

Nope, nothing there.  How about .HTML ?

 http://www.phreaknic.org/seietrkr.html

Nope...

We're close though, I know it.  :)   JonnyX's sekrits will soon be seen...

See you next time,

Elonka  :)
