Okay class, time to get up and stretch . . . Teacher has a faculty meeting.
OOC: I'm about to head out the door from my place here in St. Louis,
and
drive down to Nashville for the 2600 meeting tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone! I know a few of you
already from
DragonCons past, but the rest of you have just been images floating
through
the dark ether of JonnyX's brain for me. It'll be nice to
meet you in
person. :)
Also: mucho thanks to you who came through at the last minute to
offer me
couch-space. I 0we you one. :)
And for all you hungry hint-junkies, okay, here's one more to tide
you
through the weekend:
Phone far-fetched root text --> for the next part of the code
See you at the meeting,
Elonka :)
"I'm a gamer. It's what I am. It's what I do."
If you have not left yet, might I warn you being that it is labor
day
weekend, you stand a good chance of running into Illinois' finest.
You
have been warned. I-64, not too bad, I-57, somewhat bad,
and I-24,
YMMV. Kentucky is usually a little more lax. Oh yeah,
there is
probably construction on 57. That interstate sucks so bad
it is a
wonder I have not had a flat tire from the pot holes.
I got lidar'd when I went to Belleville for Memorial Day weekend
a
couple years back. I vowed to never again do a holiday weekend
to IL if
I could help it. (No, I did not get a ticket, the laser detector
went
off).
Hmm, thanks for reminding the rest of the list... I might have to
drop
on by. BTW, Italian / Pizza sucks in Nashville.
Keep the Cicero's warm for me :)

Just a reminder, Tommorrow is the first friday of the month and
that means
the 2600 meeting is upon us - or something like that.
Meeting is at JJ's Market - most people start showing up around
7 - and stay
until whenever... Check se2600.org for directions.
Elonka, yes, the one doing the code tutorial, is in from Saint Louis
for the
next few days and is anxious to meet everyone.
mixman is in from DC for the weekend, and I'll be dragging him to
the
meeting too.
see you all there,
Antimony

I'm jealous. I think you should make the rounds to Atlanta,
Elonka. Snag a
couple of the Nashville folks, too. Maybe bring your tutorial
on nifty
white storyboards. Heh. Can't wait to pick your brain
in person. Enjoy
the meeting.
