Lemaire Channel


This is a narrow but scenic waterway between the Antarctic Peninsula -- that bit of land on the left -- and Booth Island (on the right of the gap)...

Our ship actually had to push through some ice to get into it...  .

 

Then once through the channel, we looked to our right and saw an amazing skyline of icebergs.  It was our next stop, Pleneau Island!
